Adult Felony Sentencing:  Advanced Course.

         Course Details:  This course is designed for the experienced trial attorney.  It builds on the material covered in our Basic Course and will provide participants with the tools they need to handle complex sentencing issues.  The teaching of this course places more emphasis on students working through the complex sentencing fact patterns attorneys are likely to face.

Lecturer:  Michael Reinhart

  Recently a guest lecturer on Ethics and Law at California State University Fresno, Mr. Reinhart is a 25 year veteran trial lawyer with more than 100 jury trials completed.  His trial record includes the first ever successful prosecution of the infamous Hells Angels under California’s criminal gang statutes, a death verdict in the double homicide case of People v Potts and the first ever introduction of “chemical fingerprinting” evidence at trial in California.  Mr. Reinhart is presently a Chief Deputy District Attorney and has taught seminars to the California District Attorneys Association, California probation departments, and numerous law enforcement agencies.
